A few months ago, I posted asking about the Plaza Hotel.
Many folks sent me their thoughts.
I stayed there for 11 days earlier in Augiust...here is a short report.
- the room was clean, everything worked, the carpet was really threadbare
but serviceable.
- the casino is relayy old, the poker room is staying alive but games are
few
- service was good to very good
the front desk isn't...it is on the third floor but is always staffed byt
reasonably helpful people
- valet parking is in the back by the bus stop...close tot he hotle if youa
re in the south tower but a bit of a hike iof you are in the north tower.
the rate I got was less than the rack rate of 39.95/49.95
