We (2 adults) will be in Vegas for a week starting Oct 3rd. Catch a
few shows, see the sights & gamble a bit. A couple of people said we
should stay at Castaways. Said the hotel was older but renovated &
the rooms are quite good and they liked the buffet & restaurant.

We will have a car so that's not a problem

Looking for any comments about the place. Should we avoid it? I read
that it has filed for chapter 11. Our preferences are good clean
room, food on premises, and big hassles. We still have time to book
another hotel.

As for the rest, who stays in one hotel all day & night.

Any comments would be welcome. Thanks.

Castaways is located on Boulder Highway, right where the famous Fremont
Street meets. Fremont Street being the famous place to go for prostitutes
and drug dealers.

Enjoy your stay.
