Today's Wall ST Journal has an ariticle about hotels charging big fees
for smoking in non smoking rooms and a lot of people are fuming! If they
find cigarette buts in the trash can they fine you. I don't smoke but I
can't keep women out of my room that smoke. They get in my room and wait
for me to come back by telling the hotel staff that they are with the
fire dept to check the sprinkler system. How can I keep from my Vegas
vacation funds from going up in smoke because of this fine?

Now that's a Whopper!

But let's pretend it's true, since pretending is what you do best.
Ron, what do you do with these women when you return to your room and
find them there?

I have this same problem, Ron.

Relax, there is a simple solution, simply refuse to pay it. You are
not contracted to pay this absorbadent charge. When I make a
reservation, I always have an email confirmation that documents the
daily rate. I approve incidentles and do not approve charges such as
the ones you speak of.

However, If I am feeling real wild & crazy I sometimes charge the
"ladies in waiting" for the thrill of my presence. With this in mind,
I sometimes pay the charges

Good luck
